Tulalip Termainal Area (the Bubble) Will Open Friday May 26th

The Tulalip Terminal Area, commonly refered to as the bubble will open this Friday, May 26th to salmon fishing for Chinook & Coho. This small area off of Tulalip Bay is a terminal area fishery for Chinook and Coho that are returning to the tribal hatchery. The area is open to sport angling Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until noon. The remaider of the week is closed. Both hatchery and wild Chinook and Coho may be retained in this area. There is a 22 inch minimum size restriction on Chinook and none on the Coho.

Though it's a relitively small area to fish, at least it gives anglers that want to fish a place to go. Though generally the area is not overly productive last season did see some fairly productive days. Hopefully, we will see the same this season.
