Skagit Sockeye Fishery - Reports

Overall, the reports that we received from the Skagit this past weekend were not exactly fantastic. Though we did hear of a few fish being caught, they were in fact few and far between. We should see some better results as the season progresses and the extreme tides subside. We are at the very begining of the fish runs and generally fish do not enter into the river on extreme tides. The most extreme tide of the summer season occured on Saturday with a minus 3.3.

We should see better fishing toward the middle of this week and through the weekend.

Ted's has lots of Sockeye gear on hand, with lots of Spin N Glo's, pyramid and claw sinkers as well a live sand shrimp.
