Whidbey Island Coho Derby - Saturday September 7th, 2013

For those of you on the Island mark your calendar for Saturday Septemberr 7th to take place in the Whidbey Island Coho Derby.  This is a really fun lockal derby put on by South Whidbey Sons of the American Legion, Whidbey Island Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers and Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club. Here's the run down on the prizes:

Trophy for the Largest Coho Salmon

1st Place $300.00

2nd Place $200.00

3rd Place $100.00

Door Prize Raffle for Derby Ticket Holders

One Ticket per Fish Entry - Maximum Two Fish Entries per Person - Fish Areas 8-1, 8-2 and 9.  Only Coho Salmon may be Entered.  Weigh in by 4:00 PM at Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club - Awards Ceremony and Raffle to be held at approximately 4:30 PM - Must Be Present at Awards Ceremony to Win a Prize - Food and Beverages Available Starting at Noon
