Squid Fishing, December 10th

Squidding this season has been far more productive than this past year. We have been getting good reports from many of our customers fishing the docks from Edmonds south to Tacoma. Squidding is like just about every other fishing in that it is not always productive and you certainly must pay your dues for those nights that are very productive.

As a general rule fish the last couple of hours of the incoming tide through the high slack no mater when it occurs after dark. That could be just after dusk till just before dawn. Make sure to consult your tide table.

Ted's has a good supply of squid jigs as well as the longer softer action rods that most of the die hard squiders tend to prefer. Stop by and we'll be glad to help you set up and give you a run dow on this popular winter sport.
