Seattle Waterfront Squidding

While we are very much past the prime squidding season, we are still hearing some fair reports coming from those fishing the Seattle waterfront. We had one of the regular customers in this afternoon that managed to jig up five pounds Sunday evening. This squid season has been the best we have seen in many years and perhaps accounts for the longer season. Generally by this time of the year most of the squid have finished their spawn and have expired. How long this squidding may continue is just a guess!
