Results From The Bill Hayes 31st Hot Plugs Derby

This years derby brought out 141 anglers entering 38 blackmouth. The derby winning fish 16.9lbs was caught by James Essig who had never fished a derby before, nor had he even fished much. Better to be lucky than good! He took home $3,525 in prize money! Not Bad! The winning fish was caught on a Gibbs Skinny G off of Camano Islands Onamac Point.

1st. Place James Essig     16.9lbs

2nd Place Don McDonald     13.6lbs

3rd Place Wayne Logsdon     12.3lbs

4th Place Mike Jacobs     11.2lbs
