Lake Stevens Kokanee Fishing Starting Up

A few of the customers have been up to Lake Stevens this past weekend testing the waters to see if they could find a cooperative winter kokanee. Though the fishing wasn't exactly red hot by any means they did manage to boat a handful. They were finding them in the surface layers and fishing no deeper than 10 feet. In fact one of the guys was tossing jigs at the surfacing fish and managed to catch  4 or 5. The fish that were caught were in the typical 10 - 11 in range.

If you don't have anything better to do then a trip up to Steven's just might be in the cards. Give it a try.
