Halibut Reports From Mutiny Bay

The reports that we received from the Mutiny Bay halibut fishermen was on par with what we saw last year. There were perhaps 45 or 50 boats that fished that area today with about 15 halibut landed is what we heard from the folks that were up there. From what we heard the anchor fishermen did considerably better than those who decided to drift their offerings. We did not hear of any big fish today with most fish in the teens through low thirties. We still have good numbers of large herring on hand. Lots of really good purple and some black (though it is not the quality of the purple). If you have never anchored for halibut you can stop by and I'll be glad to give you the run down. There are a few things that you will need to know.
